You can request deletion of your CNG Connect account and the personal data associated with it at any time. This page explains how, and what happens to your data.
Option 1 — Delete from within the app
- Open CNG Connect and go to the Profile tab.
- Tap Settings.
- Select Delete account and confirm.
Option 2 — Request by email
Send an email to support.cngconnect@5m-india.in from the email address associated with your account, with the subject line "Delete my data". To help us verify your request, include the name or mobile number on your account.
We will process verified deletion requests within 30 days and confirm by email once complete.
What gets deleted
- Your account and profile (name, email/phone, photo).
- Your saved stations, history, points and achievements.
- Personal identifiers linked to your reports and reviews.
What may be retained
- Anonymized, community-benefiting contributions (such as a station's existence or aggregate availability) may be retained without any information that identifies you.
- Records we are required to keep for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes, for as long as the law requires.
